HYDROCELE DISEASE

Hydrocele is a disease that occurs as a result of accumulation of fluid around the testicles (that is, the scrotum) in men. This condition is often manifested by swelling of the testicle.Medical explanation:The shell (tunica vaginalis) located around the testicles normally secretes a small amount of fluid, which facilitates the movement of the testicle. But sometimes this fluid is produced too much  or not reabsorbed. As a result - hydrocele occurs.Who does it occur? In newborns - usually  temporary and disappears by itself. In adults (i.e. men) - injury, inflammation,  infections or lymph flow around the testicle possible Treatment:In babies: Observed up to 1-2 years old, often disappears by itself. In adults: If it causes discomfort or is associated with   infection, fluid is removed by surgery   (hydrocelectomy).Important:Although a hydrocele may look harmless, in some cases it is a sign of a more serious problem (such as testicular tumors or infection). Therefore, it is necessary to consult a urologist!
